Guests and non DOD and Military ID card holders must go through the visitor Gate (Tulley Gate) and get a visitor pass prior to entering the Military Base.
FORT BELVOIR FITNESS DETERMINATION AND GATE ACCESS RESTRICTIONS
Installation Commander or his/her designated representative may deny access and access credentials based on information obtained during identity vetting that indicates the individuals may present a threat to good order, discipline and morale of the installation, including, but not limited to the following:
1 Current Arrest Warrant
2 Criminal arrest information presenting a potential threat to the good order, discipline, or health and safety
3 Convictions for sexual offense, armed robbery, rape, child molestation / pornography, trafficking in humans, drug distribution / trafficking / manufacturing (no time frame)
4 Convictions of espionage, sabotage, treason, terrorism or murder / homicide manslaughter (no time frame)
5 Registered sex offender
6 Any felony convictions within the last 10 years
7 Felony convictions for firearms or explosive charges (no time frame)
8 Engaged in acts or activities designed to overthrow the U.S. Government by force (no time frame)
9 Unable to verify individual identity (Identity proofing)
10 The individual is barred for Entry / Access to Fort Belvoir
11 Identified in the Terrorism Screening Database (TSDB)
12 ALL NON-US CITIZENS WITHOUT A FORM OF US GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID 9E.G. A DRIVERS LICENSE AND VISA) CAN ONLY ACCESS THE BASE IF ACCOMPANIED BY A MEMBER OF THE MILITARY WHO IS PART OF THEIR GROUP. NO EXCEPTIONS.
